On 20 September, on the eves of the Mid-autumn Festival and National Day, District Management Committee Director Xu Changyuan and Deputy Director Chen Guangyin leader comrades etc. paid a visit to two street nursing homes on Changxing Island and Exchange Island, visiting and offering solicitude to the five guarantees elderly and nursing home staff there, sending them holiday wishes.

At the nursing homes the District Management Committee leaders took a serious look at the food and accommodation conditions of the elderly, engaging them in amiable conversation and inquired about the condition of their various basic necessities in detail. Xu Changyuan expressed that the District Management Committee would spare no effort to create a better living environment for the elderly to let them enjoy a happy old age.
